The GPR compound is the latest material developed for high-speed circuit racing.
It was developed on the basis of sintered metal-ceramic friction materials using powder metallurgy. The most significant characteristic of this technology is a high and stable coefficient of friction.
The GPR compound provides low abrasive interaction with the brake disc and much smoother braking thanks to its metal-ceramic friction material composition. The GPR series includes a stainless steel heat insulator and is highly resistant to wear. The difference in braking performance between dry and wet conditions is minimal.
About GOLDfren Friction Materials
- The AD, S3, S33, and GP compounds are homologated by the German testing institute TÜV Rheinland.
- All our brake pads are manufactured from sintered metal-ceramic friction materials.
- Sintering is a modern technology that provides maximum braking performance while ensuring minimal wear.
- Sintered linings provide greater braking power and longer service life compared to other types of brake linings such as organic, organic carbon, and semi-metallic organic compounds.
- With sintered linings, braking performance does not fade at high temperatures or in wet conditions.
- Sintered linings deliver exceptional braking performance under the most demanding conditions.
- GOLDfren is a pioneer in sintering methods using advanced and progressive powder metallurgy.
- Designed for both wet and dry environments.
- None of the materials contain lead or asbestos.
- The following compounds are available: AD, S3, K5, K5-LX, S33, GP5, GP6, and GP7.
- The recommended application for each compound is based on our material chart (see below) or on rider preference and intended riding style.
